openroar

hi. come in.

this is openroar. an ai that answers to you, not to whoever sold it to you.

today you rent ai from the companies that keep your data. this one you own. open source, non-profit.

scroll. we'll show you what that means.

the printing press

the printing press changed who got to speak.

the world wide web changed who got to connect.

now it's ai's turn to change who gets to think.

each time, a handful of companies ended up owning the layer everyone else lived inside.

we don't think this one has to go the same way.

on the wall

the pride. real roles, honest jobs. you'll meet us as you go.

two non-technical founders, building this hand in hand with our own agents. we're not pretending it's finished.

how it actually works

openroar puts a small ai on your own device that holds your rules.

before any big ai model (like chatgpt or claude) touches your data, this gate checks it against your rules. nothing leaves your device unless you allow it. you'll be able to watch every decision.

the alpha is in testing. we are not going to pretend otherwise.

the everyday

picture this. your own ai model, running at home, on your own hardware. like your wifi.

you meet the whole digital world through it. your own agents, your own space online that you set up your way.

you set how it works. you decide what it can and can't do. it's yours to shape.

it learns what you actually need, and handles the noise for you.

no more scrolling the same manipulative feeds. no more buttons built to trick you. it meets the web so you don't have to.

and the better it gets, the less you notice it's there. the most powerful tech should be the quietest.

now imagine everyone's ai running on the same open rules. that's the groundwork for a digital democracy with no borders.

we think. we're not there yet.

the endgame isn't a better app.

it's you, owning the ai in your life. your own model, on your own device, answering only to you.

and because it's owned and gated, safety grows with power. the stronger ai gets, the stronger the check around it has to get too.

the aim is to stay a step ahead of anyone who would use it to do harm, and keep them out. that's the goal we're building toward, not a promise we can make today.

own it. don't rent it.

that's the roar.

the room is lit

want to know when it's yours to hold?

rather listen?
